Richard McGarrah Helms (* 30. März 1913 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; † 23. Oktober 2002 in Washington, D.C.) war ein US-amerikanischer Geheimdienstfunktionär, der 1966 bis 1973 als Director of Central Intelligence fungierte.
Richard Helms is the founder and Chief Executive of Ntrepid Corporation. After a nearly 30-year career in the Central Intelligence Agency, he founded Abraxas Corporation. It was sold 10 years later but retained 145 engineers and product development lines going back years.
Richard McGarrah Helms (March 30, 1913 – October 23, 2002) was an American government official and diplomat who served as Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) from 1966 to 1973. Helms began intelligence work with the Office of Strategic Services during World War II.
