Rocky Balboa (auch bekannt als Rocky VI) ist ein US-amerikanischer Boxerfilm von Regisseur und Schauspieler Sylvester Stallone aus dem Jahr 2006 und sechste Teil der Rocky-Filmreihe. Es hatte am 20. Dezember 2006 US-Premiere und kam am 8. Februar 2007 auch in die deutschen Kinos.
Robert " Rocky " Balboa (born June 6, 1945) (also known by his ring name the Italian Stallion) is a fictional character and the titular protagonist of the Rocky film series. The character was created by Sylvester Stallone, who has also portrayed him in eight of the nine films in the franchise.
Die Rocky-Filmreihe besteht aus aktuell neun Boxerfilmen ausgehend von Rocky 1976. Die Boxdramen wurden von Sylvester Stallone geprägt und zunehmend voran geführt. Der bisher letzte Film, das Spin-off Creed III – Rocky’s Legacy, erschien 2023. Damit erstrecken sich die Filme bislang über sechs Jahrzehnte.
