Ronnie Carroll was the stage name of Northern Irish singer Ronald Cleghorn who was popular during the 1950s and 1960s, scoring several hit singles. He first represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 1962 in Luxembourg City with the song " Ring-A-Ding Girl ", which finished in joint 4th place with 10 points with the entry from Yugoslavia .
