Denver Center for the Performing Arts Cabaret announces that Miss Rhythm – The Legend of Ruth Brown will play at the Garner Galleria Theatre May 6 – October 15 as part of the 2023/24 Broadway subscription season.
Her 1995 autobiography, Miss Rhythm, won the Gleason Award for music journalism. She also appeared on Bonnie Raitt's 1995 live DVD Road Tested, singing "Never Make Your Move Too Soon". She was nominated for another Grammy in the Traditional Blues category for her 1997 album, R + B = Ruth Brown.

Her success helped establish Atlantic Records (“The House That Ruth Built”) as the era’s premier rhythm-and-blues label. The oldest of seven.
