Okt. 2023 · Im Hippodrome Gebäude, das sich am Anfang des Santa Monica Piers befindet, kann man heute noch das berühmte Karussell mit den handgeschnitzten Holzpferden aus den 20er Jahren bestaunen. Es bestehend aus 44 Pferden, 1 Kaninchen, 2 Schlitten und 1 Ziege. Das Hippodrome wurde 1916 erbaut und ist das älteste Gebäude am Pier.
