The Summer Sessions loan now offers expanded eligibility for students enrolled in at least 6 units in any single UC Berkeley summer session or combination of sessions, Berkeley Summer Abroad program, and summer UC Education Abroad Program (UCEAP). Students who received the Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) may qualify for this low-interest, subsidized loan.
Students are not automatically dropped from a class for failure to attend (there is no “instructor drop” in the summer term). Deadline to Drop Classes. Summer Session offers a variety of courses that benefit current UC and Visiting Students. We offer courses in five to ten week sessions, at an affordable rate.
