The Berghof group of companies is and stays family possessed: It is founded in 1966 by Prof. Georg Zundel. Nowadays the three sons of the company founder – Johannes, Georg and Ulrich Maxim Zundel – are working together with the executive management to bring Berghof into a successful future.
Zundel wanted to emphasize how formative this location was for his life. Outsiders have in the past frequently not been aware of the history behind this place.
