Biografie. Als in den Staaten geborener Chinese berichtete Victor Wong zwischen 1968 und 1974 als Journalist von den Demonstrationen gegen den Vietnamkrieg und der Geschichte der Patty Hearst. Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen musste er diesen Job jedoch an den Nagel hängen. Deswegen wurde er Schauspieler.

A longtime character actor most recognized for his roles as wise grandfatherly figures in such popular films as Big Trouble in Little China and Disney's 3 Ninja series, Victor Wong was also a founding figure of Chicago's enduring Second City comedy troupe and a noted Beat Generation artist.
