Admission Deadlines. While you’ll receive your degree from an individual college and department, you’ll submit your application to the Graduate School. Deadlines vary by department, and all students seeking assistantship funding should apply by January 15 for August admission. GRE Test Scores
For the fourth straight year, Virginia Tech has set a new high for the number of first-year applications for admissions. A record 52,365 first-year applications were submitted for fall 2024 admission – 11 percent more than a year ago.
