1. Juli 2000 · More often than not, Afanasieff adds keyboard beds and flares to the songs he produces. This year, as the result of his work with Streisand, Kenny G, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, Babyface and Savage Garden, the 42-year-old Afanasieff won his first Producer of the Year Grammy Award.
Walter Afanasieff (* 10. Februar 1958 in São Paulo, Brasilien) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musikproduzent und Songwriter der ASCAP. Er produzierte einige der meistverkauften Balladen aller Zeiten (z. B. den Titelsong zum Film Titanic, My Heart Will Go On) und wurde dafür mehrfach mit Grammy Awards ausgezeichnet.
