Gustave Tops. Herkunft: Belgien. Am Ende der 90er Jahre wurde der White Russian, dank des Filmes The Big Lebowski, zum Kultgetränk. Dabei besteht der Lieblingsdrink des Dudes, gespielt von Jeff Bridges, gerade einmal aus drei Zutaten: Wodka, Kaffeelikör und Sahne. Klingt erst mal einfach, besitzt aber einige Tücken.

3 cl Kahlua. 2 cl Sahne. Eiswürfel ( Eiswürfelformen-Beispiele) Tumbler ( Gläser-Übersicht) Klassische Zubereitung. Nach dem Originalrezept Wodka und Kahlua in einem Rührglas mit Eiswürfeln unter Zuhilfenahme eines Barlöffels verrühren. Die Mischung dann durch ein Barsieb in ein Cocktailglas abseihen. Etwas Sahne nur leicht schlagen.
Der White Russian Cocktail ist eine erweiterte Variante des beliebten Black Russian. Durch das Zugeben von Sahne zu der Mischung aus Vodka und Kahlua wird der Drink zum einen hell, zum anderen auch leichter und süßer. Das Schöne am Rezept ist eben auch die Einfachheit.
