It was a late 80s through early 90s educational program with various skits. The Mathnet skits were basically the “main” skit in each episode and it was an educational take on Dragnet where they were detectives and solved mysteries with math. It’s possible that the mouse thing could have been another skit in the same show, but I don’t remember.
