William Joseph Devane (born September 5, 1939) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Greg Sumner on the primetime soap opera Knots Landing (1983–1993) and as James Heller on the Fox serial dramas 24 (2001–2010) and 24: Live Another Day (2014).
William Devane is a movie and TV actor who played President John F. Kennedy in The Missiles of October and Greg Sumner in Knots Landing. He also wrote and directed some episodes of Knots Landing and appeared in Interstellar, The Dark Knight Rises and 24.
