The Mission tourten durch Deutschland, anschließend im Jahr 2002 sechs Wochen durch Europa, dann Südamerika, später wieder Europa. Nach dieser Tournee legte die Gruppe im Jahr 2003 eine Pause ein. 2005 erschien zum 20-jährigen Band-Jubiläum die DVD-Box Lighting the Candles die einen neuen Song ( Breathe Me In ) enthielt und auch wieder Anlass für eine Tour war.

The Mission (known as the Mission UK in the United States) are an English gothic rock band formed in 1986. Initially known as the Sisterhood, the band was started by frontman Wayne Hussey and bassist Craig Adams (both from the Sisters of Mercy ), soon adding drummer Mick Brown ( Red Lorry Yellow Lorry ) and guitarist Simon Hinkler ( Artery and Pulp ).
