Tom Allom (geb. vor 1970) ist ein britischer Musiker, Tontechniker und Schallplattenproduzent, der besonders in den 1970er- und 1980er-Jahren in der Rockmusik -Szene aktiv war. In Anlehnung an den Elvis-Presley -Manager „Colonel“ Tom Parker wird auch Allom gelegentlich der Titel Colonel beigelegt.
Thomas James Allom is an English record producer and sound engineer. His best-known work was in the 1970s and 1980s, working with artists such as Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Krokus, Loverboy, Def Leppard, Kix and Rough Cutt. Allom is a member of the Music Producers Guild.

It is the first Priest album to be produced by Tom Allom who would remain at the helm for the next decade for the band, and the last release to feature drummer Les Binks. To what extent the album was really live remains a matter of contention, with the album sometimes being called Unleashed in the Studio . [4]

Entstehung. Point of Entry war das erste von drei Alben, das die Band mit Tom Allom in den Ibiza Sound Studios auf der spanischen Insel Ibiza aufnahm. Im Booklet der Remaster-Version heißt es vonseiten der Band, das Album sei anders gewesen, als es die Leute erwartet hätten und ein „Experiment“, da die Songs erst spontan auf Ibiza entstanden:
