Brian Michael Jean KC ECA MLA (born February 3, 1963) is a Canadian politician who has previously served as Alberta's and Minister of Jobs, Economy and Northern Development. On June 9, 2023 Jean was appointed as Alberta's Minister of Energy and Minerals, with Larry Kaumeyer as his Deputy-Minister, the former CEO of Ducks Unlimited.

16. März 2022 · Brian Jean, a former UCP leader and rival of Kenney, won a byelection in Fort McMurray-Lac La Biche with 63.6 per cent of the vote. He is now campaigning to overthrow Kenney as UCP leader in a special general meeting on April 9.
