Mark Andrew White (born 1 April 1961) is an English singer, songwriter, composer, musician and record producer. Born in Sheffield, England, White first entered the music industry in the late 1970s as lead vocalist and keyboardist of the electronic band Vice Versa.
ABC wurde 1980 in Sheffield gegründet, nachdem Martin Fry die beiden Musiker der Band Vice Versa, Mark White und Stephen Singleton, im Rahmen eines Interviews für sein Fan-Magazin Modern Drugs kennengelernt hatte und von diesen eingeladen wurde, als Sänger in deren Elektropop -Band mitzuarbeiten.
