Luc Plamondon OC CQ (born March 2, 1942) is a French-Canadian lyricist and music executive. He is best known for his work on the musicals Starmania and Notre-Dame de Paris. He is the brother of Louis Plamondon, a long-serving member of the House of Commons of Canada.
Luc Plamondon, né le 2 mars 1942 à Saint-Raymond , est un producteur et parolier canadien. Il est surtout connu pour son travail dans les comédies musicales Starmania et Notre-Dame-de-Paris. Il est le frère du député fédéral Louis Plamondon.
Starmania is a Canadian-French cyberpunk rock opera written in 1976 with music by Michel Berger and book and lyrics by Luc Plamondon. It debuted in 1978 with a studio recording of the songs, before premiering on stage in 1979.

Luc Plamondon grew up listening to the "turlutes" (comic ritornelles) of La Bolduc at his aunt's home in Limoilou; he wrote his first song at age 16.
