  1. Steeles Tavern, Virginia. Steeles Tavern (formerly Midway) is an unincorporated community in Augusta County and Rockbridge County, Virginia. It lies at an elevation of 1683 feet (513 m). The Cyrus McCormick Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966.

  2. Our Inn is named in honor of David Steele who built a Tavern in this area when he returned from fighting the British in the American Revolution. David Steeles story and the history of our Inn are fascinating.
