David was the lead vocalist, keyboard player, co-composer and co-producer of the critically acclaimed band Not Drowning, Waving. The band won an ARIA Award for Best Independent Release in 1992 for the soundtrack to the film ‘Proof’. Not Drowning, Waving’s music straddles the worlds of rock, ambient sound and world music.
