In der Ursprungsformation nahm Planxty erst fünf Jahre später wieder Stücke auf; Ergebnis waren zwei weitere LPs, nämlich After the Break (1979) und The Woman I Loved so Well (1980). Bill Whelan wirkte erstmals als Keyboarder mit.
