Phil King is a conservative leader and former police officer who represents Senate District 10 in the Texas Legislature. He serves as Vice Chair of the Business & Commerce Committee and has a record of passing key public policy legislation on border security, taxes, education, and more. He is a leader of the Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute and the American Legislative Exchange Council.
27. Sept. 2021 · State Rep. Phil King, R-Weatherford, announced he is running for the newly redrawn Senate District 10, which has been primed for a GOP pickup under the proposed map. He got the endorsement of Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, who also backed another Republican candidate for a different district.
11. Dez. 2023 · Incumbent Sen. Phil King, R-Weatherford, is the lone Republican to file for his District 10 seat. He won his seat outright in 2022 after his Democratic challenger dropped out. Before that, he was a representative for House District 61.
Phil King is a proven and principle-driven conservative who represents Texas Senate District 10. He fights for Texans' freedoms, rights, and liberties, and is endorsed by Senator Ted Cruz and others.
He previously served as State Representative and Parker County Justice of the Peace. Phil King was just elected as Chairman for the Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute.
