Summer 2024. June 24, 2024: Grading rosters are available in CalCentral for all sessions; June 28, 2024 First 6 week session ends; July 3, 2024: Grades due for first 6-week session August 10, 2024: Summer term ends; August 14, 2024: Final grade submission deadline for all other sessions
The UC system offers hundreds of online courses in summer! UC students are welcome to earn credits/units at other UCs, simply register as a visitor and enroll. Please register through each campus offering the summer session course you wish to take. Courses can satisfy your general education and major requirements.
Students are not automatically dropped from a class for failure to attend (there is no “instructor drop” in the summer term). Deadline to Drop Classes. If you are dropping all classes in all sessions (you no longer want to attend Summer Sessions), see the sections on “ Cancellation ” or “ Withdrawal ” for more details.
The Berkeley Pre-College Scholars: Summer Virtual track participants enroll in online college-level courses offered during the summer sessions. The majority of your classmates will be UC Berkeley students and visiting students from institutions around the United States and the world.
Refunds. The $25 Application Fee for all non-UC visiting students is payable via credit card at the time of application submission is strictly non-refundable.
